Cabinetmaking & Finishing:
Blair's staff of experienced cabinetmakers work in a fully equipped wood shop with equipment equivalent to, or better than, what is found in most millwork shops.
Our CNC router is capable of cutting wood, plastics, solid surface materials and soft metals like copper, brass and aluminum. This allows us to cut complex shapes easily, accurately and with unlimited repeatability.
Blair maintains an apartment size dpaint spray booth to provide professional results.
Metal Working:
Blair maintains a staff of experienced metal workers. Using equipment that includes: a break, a shear, a lathe, a mill, saws, grinders, sand blaster, welding and other miscellaneous equipment.
Acrylic & Composite Fabrication
Blair's artisans routinely work in plastics, such as acrylic and Lexan. Other materials routinely used in Blair's fabrication processes include: high-pressure-laminates, Kydex, Sintra, PVC and solid surface materials like Corian. Vitrines [acrylic dust covers] are produced with optically clear joint, and most model-making uses acrylic as a substrate.
